Since 1978, the Parent Educational Advocacy Training Center (PEATC) has worked to level the playing field for children struggling in school because of a disability or other learning issues. PEATC is Virginia's parent involvement resource center committed to helping families, schools and communities build positive futures for Virginia's children. When all students succeed, the whole community wins.
Mission Statement
To build better futures for children with disabilities by working collaboratively with families, schools and professionals who serve them, to improve opportunities for excellence in education and success in school and community life.
We accomplish this by offering:

- Experienced-based program development and training curriculum
